Puktean Beach

Puktean Beach is located at Puktean sub-district, Phetchaburi province. It is beautiful white beach like powder and not steep. Sea is mostly clean and bluish-green so that you can be swimming happily. The beach is clam suitable for all need to rest or close to natural fully. There are big statues of Phra-Aphaimanee, Phee-Sua-Samut, Sudsakorn and Manilmungkorn on the Thai's tale located here. The beach is not far from Bangkok province about 2 hours for driving. Tourists can visit here all seasons.

Description

Puktean beach is on the same coast as Chao-Samran and Cha-Am beach . It is about 7 kilometres from Chao-Samran beach and curves from the north to south. It is not far from Puktean market where you can find fresh food or aquatic before noon. There are accomodations, lodges, restaurants and souvenior shops for serving all tourists.

Local Transportation

  • Car: Take highway no. 35 (Thonburi-Pakthor route) passing Samutsongkram and Samutsakorn province and then Pakthor district, turn left at junction to highway no. 4 (Phetkasem Road) to Phetchaburi province passing Tha-Yang district and turn left at Cholaprathan 2 junction to Puktean beach.
  • Bus: Air-conditioned bus leave from the Southern Bus Terminal (Pinklao) on Bharomratchonanee Road everyday.
  • Train: Leaving from Hua Lamphong Station to Phetchaburi province.
