Koh Lanta Marine National Park

Koh Lanta or Mu Koh Lanta National Park is covering an area of 150 sq km. The park is comprised of many islands . It's situated in Krabi Province.

Description

They are surrounded by green water and beautiful coral reefs such as Koh Ha, Koh Rak and Koh Hai. Koh Lanta Yai is the main island in the park and the national park 's office located. It is home to sea gypsies as well. Traveling time by boat should be done during October-April due to no monsoon during that period. Passenger boats are available at the Chao Fa Pier in Krabi province. It takes about 2-3 hours.

Local Transportation

  • Car: Take highway no. 4, passing Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Krabi provinces for a total distance of 946 kilometers.
  • Bus: Both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned buses leave Thonburi's Southern Bus Terminal (Pinklao) to Krabi province daily.
  • Train: There is no direct train service to Krabi. Take a train from Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Station to Trang or Nakhon Sri Thammarat and take a bus or taxi to Krabi.
  • Air: Take a flight leaving Bangkok to Krabi at International Airport everyday.

    • Before you will travel to each place, please make sure about way to go there including both time schedule and open-close time.
