Khao Kho
Khao Kho is a mountain located in Phetchaboon
province with 1,174 metres height above mean
sea level covered with forests. It is very cold
during November-February.

Description
Once it was the communists or insurgents base against the authorities during
1968-1982. Attractive places are many viewing points such as the remains of
communist bases and buildings, a war memorial, weapons museum, a Chedi
containing a Holy Relic, and the Si Dit waterfall.

Local Transportation
Car: From Bangkok , drive along Highway no. 1, passing Saraburi to Phu Khae
(Km. 125), turn right into Highway no. 21, and go to Phetchabun via Chai Badan,
Si Thep and Wichian Buri respectively with a total distance of 346 kilometers.
Bus: There are air and non air-conditioned bus services to Phetchaboon province
departing from Bangkok 's Mochit 2 Bus Terminal daily.
Air: Thai Airways operate flights from Bangkok to Phetchaboon about 2-3 days per week. Please check flight schedule later.
Before you will travel to each place, please make sure about way to go there including both time schedule and open-close time.
