Khao Samroiyot Natural Park
This park is located in the south of Hua Hin
district, Prachup Khiri Khan province. It occupies
an area of 98 square kilometers with ranges of
lime stone mountains, mangroves, swamps, and
beaches. It is also home to various kinds of birds,
which are plentiful from November to February.

Description
With a large number of ridges, Khao Sam Roi Yot (or the mountain of 300 peaks)
stands as a landmark for seaman and also provides a good shelter for ships during
a storm. Attractive places within the park are Hat Sam Phraya, Tham Kaeo, Tham
Sai and Hat Laem Sala. In addition, there is a view point on Khao Daeng, 400
metres from the park office and Ban Khao Daeng (canal-side village) where is the
starting point for a boat trip to watch wild birds.

Local Transportation
Car: From Bangkok , drive for about 3 hours along the Highway no. 35 (Thonburi-
Pak Tho route) and then turn left to the Highway no. 4 ( Phetkasem Road ) to
Prachuap Khiri Khan province, a total distance of 281 kilometers. Alternatively,
taking from Bangkok via Buddhamonthon district, Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi
provinces to Prachuap Khiri Khan provice, a total distance of 320 kilometers.
Bus: Both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned buses leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal (Saitai Mai) daily.
Train: Take a train from Bangkok 's Hua Lamphong Station to Hua Hin District or Prachuap Khiri Khan province and take a bus or taxi to destination.
Before you will travel to each place, please make sure about way to go there including both time schedule and open-close time.
